indiana has mark cuban money now he aint going anywhere, hes already making 8 mill a year

Indiana University extended Cignetti partway through his first season with a new eight-year contract. The deal doubled his salary to $8 million annually and included commitments to upgrade the football program, such as stadium enhancements and increased athlete and staff compensation.

prob gonna end up with like a manny diaz :heh:
I'd still offer him $11M and make him say no. Cig is getting another raise from all these opening regardless if he leaves or not.

A coaching search always brings out the pipe dream candidates. I'd offer Urban Meyer $15.5M/year and make him say no.

I feel like they got someone in mind if they are doing this now instead of later... I don't think they are attractive enough to to pull Saban out of retirement. So, they are probably getting a mid-major coach.

He lost the team and never took the team to the level he was expected to

Running a head coach that is 104-44 with 5 NY6 bowl berths and a CFP Semifinal run in 11 seasons out of town is nuts.

How can you lose the team when you can literally reload in the offseason in the nil era

Team just wasn't that good, the way ucla is playing at the end of the year that loss is probably not even going to look that bad

Penn state is doing some major renovations to their stadium, I think in the $700 million range. Im sure boosters paid majority of his remaining contract but Idk how much money they have to go after a big coach.

Lmao they bout to be Nebraska and Wisconsin status; made it to the semi final last year.. this not a good move
I agree. I get it but at least be strategic and have someone in mind. They about to be a revolving door unless they convince Curt Cignetti or something

Yep there is really no benefit for him to leave.
