I doubt he looks at the coach he replaced at Lincoln and sees the obvious similarities between the two. They can fake it, but a NC isn't realistic. He'll take the job at Penn State and they'll give him everything he needs to duplicate Franklin's results. Basically hiring a decent head coach with Paterno connections.

lol temple was 10 years ago, baylor one good year that's like saying mike norvell is a good coach because memphis looked good and he won 12 games a few years ago.

Nebraska is 5-1 with wins over Cincinnati, akorn, houston christian, michigan state and maryland

It is kinda funny that you fire Franklin for not winning the big game only to hire a guy who is 2-23 vs ranked opponents.

I think Rhule would do a fine job but he's not an upgrade over Franklin
