Has Penn State ever had a breh as a qb![]()
JoePa had a couple, but Franklin refused to get or start one.
Those enablers probably told him "No nikkas at QB"

so dam near 20 years agoUnder Paterno yeah I remember Daryll Clark
He had Taquan Robertson who transferred when McSorely came back for his senior year. Also had Justin Fields in the fold till he decommitted.JoePa had a couple, but Franklin refused to get or start one.

They beat fukking SMU at home and a mid-major to get there...received an absolute GIFT by getting to avoid OSU (a team he's beat once in 11 years) and Texas...then he couldn't get it done.James Franklin made it to the semifinals and almost won. Idk why this thread is being bumped
His QB was trash all game. Why are you letting him throw the ball in that situation. To be fair this game was not on Franklin, but the fact of the business is that at some point he had to know that his quarterback sucked.
In the 90s they had a cat from around my area outside of Charleston SC.so dam near 20 years ago![]()
His quarterback was trash all season. Franklin should have been playing the backup. There is no way the backup was worse than Allar. His QB was trash all game. Why are you letting him throw the ball in that situation.
He don't have a theme song so he ain't a rnJames Franklin made it to the semifinals and almost won. Idk why this thread is being bumped

He's a good coach, but he's not elite
Okay. Hopefully one sticks. Tired of seeing the same shyt from Penn State QBs.He had Taquan Robertson who transferred when McSorely came back for his senior year. Also had Justin Fields in the fold till he decommitted.
Of course...those were games he was heavily favored in. He's good at winning the games he's supposed to win, but like I said in OP, at some point to get to the next level, he has to win a game where he's not the favorite. They beat the teams in front of them..blame the bracket. If he had lost to either SMU or Boise you would have clowned him and now you use those wins to discredit him. You can't have it both ways.
Idk who was favored in this game but this game wasn't lost because of James Franklin. There are valid times to criticize him but tonight wasn't one of those times.Of course...those were games he was heavily favored in.
