Esther Rolle was an amazing actress, but Florida Evans like Laura & Moesha has not aged well. Out of all the stuff mentioned in that tweet it's the white Jesus & Alaska job that piss me off the most. The fact that this woman refused to allow a black Jesus to be a symbol in her black household was shameful, and like I said in my older post her selfishness ultimately led to James dying. James was only going to be gone to Alaska for a year and after taxes that job would've given them around 15-18k, which in the 70s was a hell of a lot of money.
