Yea, that's most definitely a horror movie. The dude attached is a horror director as well. This is also most likely 4+ years from now since he said it's after his RE and Sci Fi movies.

Cregger didn't share any specifics on his story at the time, but during a more recent interview with Discussing Film, he described the script as the "best thing I've ever written," and addressed the likelihood of it being brought to the attention of DC Studios now that James Gunn and Peter Safran are in charge.

"If I got the call, I would drop everything and go make that movie in a heartbeat," he said. "It’s my favorite thing I’ve ever written. I love it, and I’m dying to make it. I have not talked to James Gunn in my whole life. I don’t know him but I would certainly love to meet him and have the conversation. Who knows man?"

Daniel Richtman recently reported that the script is actually a Joker and Harley Quinn movie, and we now have some more details to go on.

According to THR, the project is titled Henchmen, and focuses on "a low-level henchman in the Gotham crime world who gains notoriety after managing to incapacitate Batman through a stroke of luck." The trade adds that"The Dark Knight could appear briefly in the movie, while Harley Quinn and Joker are in the project as well.

Wait a minute, is this the same rumor that was going around a couple weeks ago that resurfaced again? Rumor sounds familar and has the same ending, guy said he hasnt pitched it yet.

I think it's a little too early to be making non-superhero movies when you're trying to build a superhero universe.

I mean he is making two more movies first, this woild be coming out at the earliest in 2031.

Not a good response by Gunn. The person he's replying to is NOT a casual audience member, so of course, he's not going to be confused.

However, the majority of the movie theater audience will be people who don't follow up on all of this stuff. Many of them will defintiely be confused as to why there's 2 different Batmen.

People are not as stupid as geeks think they are, we just had a movie with 3 spidermans male a billy, not to mention into the spiderverse.

Um, yes, many of them are lol. Kevin Feige said that somebody congratulated him for the Blue Beetle movie. Despite the fact that Blue Beetle is a DC movie and character lol.

Anyway, for example, if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were playing Spider-Man at the same time (in separate films), that would've confused the fukk out of many people.

Yes, that's what will happen and that will be BAD for either movie. If more people prefer the Reeves Batman, that will hurt the DCU Batman at the box office and vice versa.

It also just dilutes the Batman brand in general.
