The Batman Score and Soundtrack were Seperate pieces of music. They were even sold as different albums. The Score was iconic. That Prince Soundtrack was trash. Batman 89 hasn't aged well, but back then it was dope AF, and the Batsuit changed the way superhero costumes were made for movies.

After Batman Begins came out, I remember a lot of Batman 89 haters coming out of the shadows to let their dislike be known. The now defunct Rotten Tomatoes forum was full of them. I heard something similar happened in the 80's to the Adam West Batman show when Batman 89 dropped.

Alot of ppl saw it when they were kids and are/were unfamiliar with Batman so they remember it fondly. Its a bad Batman film if you talking about the character.
