That has to be torture. Living in a city know for sports fandom and loyalty, but playing for the one franchise in that town that has the worst draw and no real/steady fandom. Nets “fans” are everything they pretended Miami fans were, during the Big 3 era. But perhaps even more shaky. Nothing but hipsters and yuppies in the crowd. And the opposing fans take over if that opposing team has a star player or is a contender. I could see why Harden would be a bit disgruntled. Rangers and Islander players are probably more popular and supported than Harden and the Nets. Nets popularity probably on the same level as the MLS team.
