Ny is a goat city to visit and spend a couple years living that yolo lifestyle but I can't imagine raising a family there.
If you a bball player I dunno why you wouldnt enjoy nyc nightlife compared to Houston.

Never done the Houston nightlife. I heard good things but nothing that overshadows NYC.
Can anyone school me please

What i take from this is he just prefers southern/warmer climates.....Nothing NYC can do about that...

Ive noticed on the NY sports talk radio shows Nets are BURIED even with 3 stars and arguably the best player in the game right now,Mets off season comes before the Nets :mjlol:
Mets off season low key woulda came before everything here the way they were signing guys.

The Nets are a national team, not a local one.

As someone who went to college and lived in NYC for many years I can say it’s a double edge sword.

NY is def an amazing city, especially if you rich and in the right circles.

At the same time I can see why someone would prefer Houston or ATL, Miami ect.

some folks value SPACE and square feet when purchasing or living in properties. A lot less bang for your buck in NY

also like has been mentioned the strip clubs are wack…and we know that’s important to James Harden. Southern cities have better strip culture

and lastly the WEATHER, this is the biggest reason I would never move back. I need sunlight and I hate harsh winters. I couldn’t imagine being a millionaire stuck in shytty weather for over half the year.

I love NYC but folks overrate it.

*not to mention it’s less taxes in Texas, which can go a long way.

Strip clubs. Houston has a strip club culture.

NYC ones be having bad women but you can’t touch and there’s no nudity.

The outer boroughs used to have legit strip clubs that got crazy but those fools were so corrupt they'd get their liquor licenses taken away and once that goes, it's over.

Living in NYC post-COVID just ain’t it. Visited my homie in Brooklyn and you have to do a whole song & dance with vax cards and IDs just to enter an establishment. (bytch ass Chicago mayor doing this shyt now too)

Was in Houston over the holidays and Texas straight up doesn’t give a fukk about COVID.

not to mention he’s probably paying an extra $5M in state income taxes

everyone is a democrat til taxes are due

He’s still a dark horse to return to Houston. That’s why Houston trying to trade for another star piece. Jalen can play off of Harden. I’m not interested in a harden return but the window is definitely still there. It was a report that he was happiest he seemed all season back in December 8th when he returns to Houston
