You say that when you're the best player in the league, in the discussion for best player in the league, or were at one point the best player in the league. LeBron should say that. Durant should say that. Kobe should say that. Hell, Derrick Rose should say that. Harden should have just been truthful and said LeBron or Durant or something. I think Harden actually believes it though.

If he believes it, more power to him, but he has to show and prove. It's like when Eli Manning said he was elite and got clowned for it only to watch him win a Superbowl the following season. If Harden feels that way, prove it.

It does lend credence to the idea that he's a conceited son of a bytch though
