Y'all do know Harden is still the best player in the league right? Right? Homie been holding back his scoring out of respect for KD and he's still almost leading the league in assists (CP3 the gawd got just a tad more) and averaging 22 points in his sleep while being injured and disengaged because of Nash's terrible 'system'. Was leading his team in assists, rebounds and steals. Now he's on a team that plays actual defense. Silver messed up letting this trade go through.

Beard about to go beast mode alongside Joel. They gonna restore that Kobe and Shaq feeling ya heard, no disrespect to Mamba. Them Doc Rivers speeches might fukk around and make Harden average 40. Keep your playoffs and 3-1 jokes

Would I personally do it...hell no...but I would have never traded for Harden in the first place...

Philly is going to pay Harden whatever he tells them...they have no choice...

Personally I wouldn't but the Sixers will have no choice but to give him the max unless he just completely falls off a cliff next season.

What's the alternative? Letting Harden walk after next season doesn't create cap space they can use, so at that point you're either losing him for nothing or orchestrating a sign & trade where you get some scraps in return from whatever team he signs with.

Unless this Embiid/Harden duo is just DOA and an immediate disaster Morey made this trade with the full intent of acquiring Harden's bird rights and locking him in with that max.
