Melo is a great scorer, but Harden can do just about everything on the court. I'm going with him, although both are nice

:what: okc just gave up harden for kevin martin
but houston wouldnt give him up for a ...
im done
some of you guys would make some comical gms:russ:

That was strictly for finances. They offered Harden money that Harden felt was beneath him. They couldn't afford him at the price Harden believed himself to be worth so they had to get rid of him and bring in a cheaper alternative. That's kinda what happens when the other players on the team are Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. You're speaking as if OKC wanted nothing to do with him and preferred Martin.

You're saying Houston would trade a player who's 6 years younger, not even CLOSE to reaching his full potential and is more versatile in exchange for a one dimensional - albeit highly skilled - player who's approaching thirty and has only been out of the first round one time in his career?

AND I'M THE ONE WHO'D BE THE COMICAL GENERAL MANAGER?

Yeah, the Rockets would trade a 23 year old that's already arguably better for a player that's 29. :what:

Greatest laker, find me the Melo stan who says he is on the same level as Bron I'll wait, I been riding with Melo since the :hamster:and I'm always up here. No one believes that bron and Melo are the same player, so that's bullshyt.

It's hilarious that you guys act like a Kobe vs harden debate cant happen but a Melo vs harden debate can fukk outta here

Like harden aint way more efficient then Kobe

Melo and Kobe are the exact same efficiency wise, with Melo having the higher per this yr and shooting better from three while shooting 7 of them a game

Harden is more efficient than either

Yall talk about all these Melo stans where? Its me and a few others. It's me, 23 stat city and MVP status that's it and I don't recall any of us saying Melo was on the same tier as Bron

As for the question, right now I'm picking Melo he closes games and always puts the knicks on his back, yall always talk about playmaking, the knicks lead the league in thee point shooting, the number one reason is because of melo, he shooting them at 40% and passing out of the double consistently which always leads to a open 3 point shot...fukk raw assist numbers watch the games.

If I'm starting a franchise im picking harden he is 23 and will improve and be the best two in the league by next year.

See the age argument I'll give you and if these guys were making that argument id say maybe. But people in here out and out saying harden is better than melo :whoa: the guy hasn't even finished a season . In sure it's no way his numbers could dip . Then they ignoring how harden is more efficient than Kobe yet you bring up Melos past they don't want to hear that .

The guy quoted a espn list that put dwill and Kevin love above melo :dwillhuh: they not making consistent arguments. My thing is if harden puts up these stats but doesn't make the playoffs or gets swept or something then should we say he's trash ?? (Using coli logic )

I know . Cause then next year if he's struggling suddenly hell be a bust and people will be laughing at the rockets .
Not to mention the thread said who's better not who has more potential not who you would start a franchise with etc yet people turning it into that .

its not a argument tho
carmelo is better
its really is as simple as dat
harden will probably tell you that himself
age has nothin to do with it
and 29 isnt old
harden's numbers are bloated because of the offensive and cause houston doesnt have any stars

they wont even make da playoffs dis year
