No shyt they had a downward trajectory after losing T-Mac and Yao at the same time.

Regardless those 3 years aren't enough to say he saved them from irrelevance when they spent the better part of a decade in the playoffs and only had 3 years off. Relevance is not limited to the final 4 teams left especially when you're a consistent regular season team which the Rockets were.
