:what: brook lopez ain't making bron money :what:
fukk y'all nikkaz talking bout

Next 4 years
lopez -13.6 / 14 .6/ 15.7 / 16.7
bron -17.5 / 19.0 / 20.5 / 22.1

He's making the same money that Bron made after his rookie deal. Beyond that the gap between the two players is still wider than their current salary gap.

How is Lins contract front loaded if he makes the most the last year. :leostare: and carries a cap hit of 8 mil in all three years ? Same with asik. the problem becomes trading them is bad teams won't want those players if they playing bad enough to get traded and good teams with no cap space have to take the full hit . Who's going to trade for these players

My fault, I meant back loaded. Their large contracts in the 3rd year, makes them good assets to free up cap space and move players for other teams. In the meantime, we can still max out another player like Dwight if he was open to coming to Houston. We also may have space max out another player with Dwight, based on our cap space after this season even with the Harding signing.

:bryan: at anybody thinking Kevin Martin will be able to sufficiently replace James Harden in the OKC system. Martin is the worst defender in the league, is primarily an off the ball scorer, not the playmaker Harden is either.

As a Spurs fan im :stylin: right now.

They're still better than the Spurs. Don't know why you're dancing.

The Asik and Lin contracts are front loaded. Morey is not stupid. We have a lot of flexibility to move them in a season or two if needed. Morey is banking on the fact the superstar musical chairs will open up opportunities for the Rockets to build a competitive squad. All the "sexy" cities have no cap space. Players have to go somewhere and Houston is not a bad option, especially in the next few years. Hopefully we can secure some top 3-5 lottery picks for 2013 and 2014 as well.

Without Harden they're not. Kevin Martin is a non defending, one-dimensional volume scorer. If OKC and San Antonio meet again in the playoffs i'll feel much better knowing that Kevin Martin is on the Thunder rather than James Harden.

But the Spurs are one year older and still defensively challenged. And the core of the Thunder are only getting better because they're so young.

Our bench is better now. We don't have old ass Fisher anymore, Maynor is a solid player who will handle the ball & be a playmaker for others. Martin can score what Harden did. But now we have Lamb & Jones who will also contribute to the scoring. We went from one guy off the bench scoring to having 3 guys who will do some scoring.

:wow: at that screen name, shyt makes me laugh everytime.
