So many conflicting reports. Regardless though, I’m a fan but I don’t get how player think they can dictate where they go. Brooklyn has nothin to offer. We dont want their non-star core that that got embarrassed on the first round. And I’m a levert fan but he ain’t worth harden.

 

Does the NBA really like this player empowerment era? All the elite players want to play on the same 4 to 6 teams.

 

How much leverage does Harden really have to dictate what team he’ll go to, if he’s under contract for at least the next 3 seasons?

Meh..... Nets is new.... this like the first time someone wanted to really play for them in like 30 years

 

Nets were missing like 8/9 of their guys in the first round against the 2 seed Raptors.

Dinwiddie, Levert, and Allen kept the nets in playoff hunt even with injuries on that squad and no KD


Spencer is a 22/8 kind of guy
Caris is 20/6
Allen is 15/10

Before the Lakers series I said in the Rockets thread if we flamed out, it'd be time to blow it up and do Harden a solid by sending him to a preferred destination *if* feasible (i.e. where we could still get great value).

The hit pieces and petty finger pointing is disapointing as this should've been an amiable split after 8 good years and some deep runs.

Harden has multiple years left on his contract, no way can he dictate where he wants go, and that nets rumored offer is trash lmao
