The Django Unchained star drops some very intriguing hints about Electro's future in The Amazing Spider-Man Universe and teases the possibility of Max Dillon joining the Sinister Six. He also reveals that he's actively trying to bring Spawn to the big screen!

"I'll put it to you this way: you don't really kill electricity; it just goes to another place," Jamie Foxx teased when asked by Movies.com whether or not we should expect to see Electro return in a future instalment of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. "You can shut it off, but it's still somewhere. Look, I'm just happy and humbled to be in this one and hopefully do right by the fans in making Electro someone who has different sides. I want people to feel for him, so that when he does turn into Electro, you want to root for him. Whether he comes back again in another film ... you know, so be it." As for whether or not a possible return would include The Sinister Six, the Academy Award winning actor added: "You know, Electro was always tempted by the Sinister Six. So, we'll see. Look, stepping away from it, I would like to see something like that. That would make it like, okay, the big guys are coming to play." The more we hear, the more likely it sounds that it's actually going to happen! However, it turns out that this isn't the only comic book movie role that Foxx has his eye on. ""Spawn is one, yeah. And Mike Tyson. Those are two roles I would just love to do. I'm aggressively pursuing them!"

lol @ "wants to adapt". He's just keeping his eyes on the role, as would any black actor considering that Spawn is the biggest black superhero solo property (John Stewart is part of a 'team' property as Green Lantern). And before they get mentioned, Luke Cage and T'Challa are B-listers. They might be better characters, they're not bigger characters.

Anyway, should Spawn ever happen I'd much rather have them bring back Michael Jai White. Regardless of all the things wrong with the original movie, he was perfect for the role.

No one would EVER believe Jamie as Tyson:laugh: That would be more of a satire than a biopic:laff:

Unless you mean to say he's even lower than that, you're wrong. Iron Man was considered B-list before the movie blew him to A-list status. You're only fooling yourself if you think Black Panther belongs in the top tier.
