Breh, #1 he looked fine. #2 You don't gotta look exactly like somebody to do a great job in a biopic. The quality of the acting is far more important. #3. So you would cast Mekki, just because he looks a bit more like James Brown?


I've heard mad opinions and reviews from folks after they saw this film and you're the only one I've can remember that was disgruntled over this point.

Breh they got this nikka punching everyone in the face throughout the movie, he punched his trainer, his wife, this random dude at the club, everyone got that one piece special :deadcena2:

I went on HBO GO and watch the Tyson movie agian. Dude, for real...that movie is a f*cking underrated and forgot how the movie great was. Michael Jai White nailed as Mike Tyson. Totally forgot Malcolm Jamal Warner aka Theo was also in this movie.

He didn't punched his wife. His wife was lying her ass off about Tyson. True story, Don King and his wife set him up and Tyson was blind to see it.

It's sad how black people like his wife and Don King used him, set him up, etc while you have white folks that acually care for Tyson

Nah, I remember watching this story when it happened...Tarantino went right to Jamie Foxx right after Will turned it down and he only turned it down because he felt like he wouldn't be the star. He even said in an interview he loved the script but wanted Django to be the sole protagonist.
