Last few years, yeah. I'm not impressed with Denzel's movie selection of late (lastgood one was Great Debaters)
Not to long ago there was a thread around here about how Samuel Jackson takes any and all roles...that's basically how I view Jamie Foxx as well. Take from that what u will.
Denzells best work is better than Jamies best work..... in saying that Jamie has far surpassed any expectations I had of him, hes better at comedic roles than Denzel but I think Denzel is a better serious actor
Denzel had a massive head start though.
You already see Jamie taking those bigger and more serious roles right now.
only role Jamie wowed me with was Ray, and he is a comedy who can do impersonations all while being a musician,

I think he needs to be more selective now since hes proved hes got the chops.....unfortunately there is more money going down the blockbuster movie route and Jamie Fox doesnt strike me as the type to choose art over money
those were a while ago dude.... a lot of the stuff Ive seen him in lately is the typical blockbuster type stuff....and no matter how good Django was that wasnt a serious dramatical movie

He's really not that good of an actor. Y'all need to stop it. In fact, he falls flat in a lot of roles. The only one he actually stood out in was Ray. He was blah in every thing else
And his acting in those roles aren't good definitely not even close to Denzel's level.
