:comeon: at dudes blaming him for losing to lindsey graham in fukkin south carolina. youve gotta be shytting me
I mean....I’m trying to figure the reason why he’s a good pick besides being Clyburn’s corporate lackey sidekick. Y’all aren’t giving me shyt except making excuses for his loss as if that should make me feel better about this man serving as next DNC chair.

He’s getting this role based off of what? Just because he was able to do big numbers fundraising against one of Trump’s more shameless flunkies? Not exactly a hard thing to do. McGrath was able to fundraise a shyt ton of money going up against McConnell too because the establishment supported her from the jump and nationalized that race as well. Him being able to fundraise against one of Trump’s fukking horsemen of the apocalypse doesn’t impress me at all.

South Carolina is roughly 30% black.
It's leans 37% moderate and 62% conservative.

He outperformed the margins, but if you believe a white savior is the Answer then say that. :picard:
I didn't say a Black man couldn't win in SC multiple other posters did. I notice you ignored that but you got a hard on for me. Did you have side convos with them where they showed you they understand demographics or something?
Good for him but not us unfortunately. Let's pick someone with a W on their record at least if not a history of running winning campaigns as the DNC Chair otherwise this just looks like "how much money can we raise?" move. :francis:

He lost by 10 points instead of 20 and had no interesting or unique new campaign strategies or policy ideas he's a great pick. :mjlol:

Terrible choice, but the RNC just reelected Rona McDaniel as chair after the disastrous year the Rethuglicans have had, so it's pretty much a race to the bottom.

DNC chair who raised a bunch of money and still lost by double digits :hula: RNC chair who lost the House, White House and Senate all under chairship
He lost because Trump was on the ballot

He has to focus on state races because democrats are getting killed in the state level. The only state Dems made inroads in the state level was in New York State an already solid blue state. Winning state legislatures and governorships help with gerrymandering and voting rights. Dems lost in the state level which means the GOP has another decade of gerrymandering and voter suppression.

He'll probably respect state parties way more than the last three DNC chairs since he was chair of the SC Party.

But lobbyists in the DNC won't be stopped and transparency in budgeting won't happen.

I hope so and invest some funds in the South, esp Florida.

McDaniel actually gained seats in the house and held on to a bunch of senate seats most thought were gone. Not her fault Trump sabotaged everything

This is obviously a favor for Clyborn. And Abrams is probably running for governor again since Kemp is done. Harrison ran a terrible campaign. We talk about money raised but that was more to do with Graham probably being the second most hated senator behind Mitch.
