It's not that rare down South for both Blacks and Whites to live in mobile homes.

Especially if you own land or live out in the county. If you sink all your money into acreage, a mobile home is a good way to save up to build something more permanent. Then you can rent out your trailer, because the resale value is . . .pfffth.

Just saw a picture. It's not actually a trailer. It's a modular home. They have a full foundation and everything, like a real house. They come in on a truck and are assembled on top of the foundation. It's not that much different than the cookie-cutter houses builders put up in subdivisions, except they're built off-site.
Is it still a trailer park though? :patrice:

Exactly.

It's getting common in bigger cities. I know people in Charlotte who live in them and they rent rooms out.:ehh:

People in the South don't really call them trailer parks anymore. That Jerry Springer sh_t only exist in certain areas.

I can tell who lives in the South on here and who doesn't. Y'all gotta get out more.:heh:

Jeff Hardy lived in a trailer while getting all that Hardy Boyz/Attitude Era money and even during his singles run as WWE/World champion when his merchandise sales were #1-2 in the company :yeshrug:

Look at his house now :wow:

and probably has millions in the bank :whoo:

That's how you save up money for what you want and I guarantee he was paying less than $500 a month.:blessed:

My grandma had a mobile home, lived good, had a house too, and never worked for nobody. :lawd:
