Same man, that's the only track from the album I have on my playlist. In my opinion, their last two albums were pretty weak compared to the greats. Funk Odyssey had a few jams, but I didn't like where they went after that. I'm hoping they revisit their acid jazz roots, as that is what made them successful in the first place.

Yeah Motife, its been awhile since we had that last album. Crossing my fingers Jay Kay and co got something planned for us.

Hi Stuart. I am sure listening to these old tapes again brings back some memories...
- Hearing these tapes conjures such fond memories of a time when music and the creative process was so free and uninhibited. I loved how we went through so many changes. We used to jam as a 3/4 piece. Myself, Toby and Derrick and Jay. We used to lay percussion and guitar stuff after we had written the basis of the track.

So tells us a secret we didn't know about the song Scam...
- That weird intro was written by me on the keyboard using just patterns.. Shapes...

What bass did you use?
- I used my Alembic... That got stolen out of my car! I used different basses on all of the tracks actually.

Was scam one of the first songs you did for second album?
- To tell you the truth I can't remember. We used to jam so much on tour, writing new songs at the soundchecks

Did you like how scam ended up on the album?
- Hmm... Not really... But kind of...
