it was alright, -- great production values & creativity, but the actual underlying songs weren't that great, not terrible either tho, but still not much really transcended. some of it sounded straight up DISNEY-ish, freal, made me think she'd breakout wildly successfully getting her Mary Poppins on, or like in a animated musical.

The single of her last album was HUGE...shyt was everywhere....and I've seen her in commercials recently...whoever mentioned Nicki is dumb, they don't share fanbases, and Monae isn't trying to be some pop superstar. She stays in her lane and does it better than most anyone else.
