Yea, I was 12 when that album dropped, I legit fell in love with her when that album dropped, I mean the 2 albums before that were ok, but that album crushed buildings, pure simp season in full effect.

Yea Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are probably the most influential production team of all time, no less than top 3 they influenced hip-hop and R and B.

I even felt Rhythm Nation was her best. That's just a preference though, and may be only because I listened to it not too long ago.

Greatest female artist of all-time imo. Look at the comparison between her and Madonna's careers. Janet's talent ages greater.

Michael Jackson being the greatest male artist of all-time.

Imagine the knowledge passed on from Joe and Katherine Jackson to their kids.

Yo, low key I think Jam and Lewis invented New Jack Swing brehs :lupe:

I mean didn't this album came out before Teddy Riley and them made "Make It Last Forever" which is (wrongly in my opinion) credited as the album that pioneered that sound. But listen to "Nasty" off Control. That shyt is NJS all the way brehs.

Anyway, peep

She killed that video dolo. Her ass was :noah: too.
