Hikikomori are people with untreated severe social anxiety disorder and depression. I've only read 2 studies on Hikikomori but I believe they withdraw from the world due to trauma or inability to function due to mental illness.
Basically. and calling them slurs like incels and shyt is only adding fuel to the fire. then dudes be looking shocked when these mfs take all that anger out and go shoot some shyt up or start killing people.

Everything! If you can't get it, odds are you will kill yourself or take your anger out on women....
You know there are plenty of dudes who don't get p*ssy, don't kill themselves and don't take their anger out on women right?

In fact, most violent acts against women happen by men they are in relationships with, not dudes who don't get p*ssy.

is it worth watching?

its an anime about incels?

:lupe:

worth watching if you're interested in how people with chronic depression, anxiety, autism function in the world. NHK is popular because it gives you a realistic look into mental health struggles, and comments a lot on japanese concerns about young men being social recluses.

not about incels. the only harm anyone really does is to themselves, and they don't blame the opposite sex exclusively for their problems. one of the major characters is female even.
