The first pitcher was white. They took him out after he gave up a couple home runs and Japan started to catch fire. The black kid did give up more but the game was over at the point. Japan dominated the tournament. Only North Carolina had a comparable run. Tournament was alright this year but the GOAT year was when the Jackie Robinson team made it and Philly had Mo'ne Davis. I don't think they'll top that year for a long time.
