Has anyone ever lived? How much is a 2 bedroom there? How expensive is it really? NY prices? Or is it exaggerated, and you can find cheap districts and ways to save money.

I'm going there in Nov to check it out, decided to override my trip to the Philippines and go some where new (I've been but only 24 hours, that shyt dont count). This time I'm going for 7 days and wanted to do a tour of tokyo. If I like it, maybe next spring, Ill live there for a year or 2.

my first single in china was 49 sq and it was a fukking box, this shyt aint healthy how can you live in that??

how come I can't find 2 bedrooms tho, don't people have families?

something just dont seem right about these measurements tho. how can a 2 bedroom be 56 sq, that makes no logical sense, I think they measure differently.

I lived in Japan for a year as an exchange student. I lived in Kyoto in a dorm so for me housing wan't too expensive and I actually looked around at some prices for renting regular apartments and they were affordable for the most part. Now Tokyo and Osaka is way more expensive, so don't count on living huge. Other expenses I would say were pretty much on par with western cost of living, some food were a bit more expensive but dining outside was reasonable. The japansese cuisine

Since you're gonna be there for a week I suggest you look around at some prices while you are there to get an idea. I love Japan, you're gonna have a great time
