Should probably clarify that you're comparing the best of with the best of because from movies to series, mature/sophisticated to child/teen oriented, there's been thousands made over the decade in both countries.

This is very debatable both ways once you think about it.

Agree wit kev. It's about equal at this very point. Japan was killing it in the 90s, but recently I don't know. It's like the studios ain't really trying anymore to find a grasping concept. All these manga out here pretty much giving the blueprint and they still be finding ways to fukk it up.
