Unless you mean as a side benefit from lowering the frequency at which they use donated blood then no, that’s a massive lawsuit/public hazard I hope not.

no I meant if the alternative to donated blood doesn't require testing for diseases than it could end up cheaper than donated blood which would lead to donated not being in high demand. in addition to not testing for blood it seems to not require the refrigeration cost since it can be stored at room temperature, fewer medical personnel needed to draw blood and the related medical equipment too for that procedure. thats a lot of money being saved.
