Japanese Developers been following the Western action shooting nonsense and they failed last gen by doing the same shyt as Capcom. They lost all creativity and originality. Cockblocking your fanbase is not a good idea.

When it comes to the majors, Japanese devs shyt all over Western devs in terms of gameplay and mechanics (with the exception of Capcom mailing it in lately).

Western devs do however got sports sims and racers on lock.

I hope they rebound but right now only platinum and suda doing anything of note.
