I was watching some of the G1 today as I was doing some things around the house. Couple surprising upsets. The field is pretty wide open, they are going to be forced to push a lot of the younger homegrown talent this year. Every Takeshyta match is going to be appointment viewing for me.

They need to book Takeshyta to have a 12-15+ minute banger against anyone he faces under 40. New Japan's goal needs to be to use him to help elevate these young guys.mI don't know how much that will ultimately help but it can't possibly hurt.

To me... they should just put the title on him. He has a dual contract doesn't he? He can be the IWGP champion and still wrestle and and be featured heavily on 'Dynamite'
