Gedo is a fukking idiot. So EVIL goes over Tsuji for what reason, I don't know. Still holding off on the young talent? Tsuji isn't even "young" really when you think about it. Nobody gives a fukk about EVIL.

What enrages me the most of this result is that the old, immobile, Fat Fukk Fale is somehow still in prominence, helping HoT winning matches with his slow ass moves.
I've been reading people saying EVIL is somehow popular in Japan. Don't really know about that. People chant in unison when he's about to connect his finisher, but you also hear the air coming out of the arena when he won the match...

If he was truly popular then the attendance wouldn't have been so ass during his title reign or his reigns anywhere near the top. Japanese will speak with their wallets more than Americans will. If EVIL was that guy, we'd know about it lol.
The only logical explanation is that Gedo was worried about a technical part-timer/technical outsider winning possibly being rejected by the audience, and wanted to guarantee they'd be cheered against someone the crowd actually doesn't like.

They should have Takeshyta go undefeated for at least a year. But the problem is that they've done such a pathetic job building up the roster that there's no exciting title defenses or real rivalries for him to go through (besides the few established names that are still with the company)..
They basically have to use Konosuke as the catalyst for all these younger guys to step up. But Gedo has shown zero signs he wants to put the work needed to execute that kind of long term booking.
Having a dope champion is the bare minimum at this point. They have to make shyt interesting for the midcard and upper midcard so people start gaining some fukking momentum for once.

We did it! Take was the right man at the right time. He been should have been the NJPW ace if it wasn't for Gedo and them backwards thinking. Even in the tournament final. He thinks EVIL is the only guy where Take will be cheered? I just don't believe that. He's not an outsider anymore. He had a three way contract and fans will accept him when he shows he's committed and works hard which he has.
