He's back in All Japan at least :ehh:

Yeah, I saw that. He joined Odyssey Jones' stable and went straight to challenge Kento. That's an upgrade. Maybe.

Also, KENTA defended the GHC title against one of Kensuke Sasaki's disciples, Masa Kitamiya, in an aight match. Then he was challenged by a big guy in a cowboy hat that seems to have been on an excursion to NXT for a while, getting "experience". Of course, KENTA laughed at this because he knows NXT is trash, but accepted the challenge anyway, both speaking a little English, which is what they got from there, I guess.

I've been on a puro binge these days. Mostly watching Kikutaro and Osaka Pro matches, but still...

Also, rumors out from the show:

Wolfe's debut will be against Finlay or EVIL @Scottie Drippin

Tana's last match might be against Tsuji :leon:
Tsuji for me, has been the one of the "New Gen" that seems ready for the top. Not that he's a finished deal or anything, but there is just an obvious "something" there with him. Thought he shoulda been the first one up for top stuff instead of Shota. The crowd buys him in a different way.

In the same way that Okada having some Cena/Rock type elite western wrestler in him I think helped the audience "get" him and click with the change as quick as it happened (just like Tana having some Steamboat/HBK type western babyface vibes), I think Tsuji has a bit of Roman in him in a way that screams "this is something you've never experienced before"

NJ crowds that have just seen it absolutely all and at the highest level, seem to respond a lot to when the top NJ guys aren't just tryna do the Inokism tribute stuff. I even think back to Hash with his fat karate elvis vibes.

There were some boos from the audience. They aren't buying this "triple contract" BS. Takeshyta is still an outsider for some.

Luckily, Goto came out to make the challenge. Too bad isn't going to be at WK.

Who do you want as champion? Someone who walks with those DDT FREAKS? Or a proven, loyal warrior and HOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR, like Goto?

Good. Hopefully people start rallying around New Japan wrestlers to take the belt away from Takeshyta, It would be dope if Konosuke starts trolling them about King of Sports being inferior to DDT or some shyt :russ:

Please don't be Gable Stevenson :sadcam:

ngl he's giving Gable Stevenson here OH shyt didn't even see your comment until I hit quote :dead:

Nah doggy you're seeing right - unbelievable technique that he makes look too easy (because it is for him) and not a sliver or glimmer of fire :sadcam:

Worried about what his strikes are gonna look like.

The last thing this company needs is a stoic Ace :francis: they don't have the roster for a stoic gimmick to work around it.
