I still haven't watched Joey Janela's Springbreak and any of the AJPW Champion Carnival

16 year old me would be amazed at all of the wrestling available for free on the internets, remember tape trading? I was trading the same copies of Cage of Death and TPI for like 4 years straight for other shyt

Breh. These are some beautiful times to be a wrestling head, but on the real it's overwhelming as all hell. Like Bloodsport pretty much hit the spot for me wrestling wise. After Mania, I'm going to have to recoup a bit because that weekend alone was nuts. Like I said before, I'll try to catch up on the Carnival since Zeus doing GOAT tings, but eh...been in a slump .

Y'all could pretty much watch every match worth a damn from the tourney during the 3 hours of RAW to be honest There's two 20 minute matches that are good but not can't miss and the rest goes from 6 to 12 minutes

Don't be crying when the VK dude gets his account banned or something

It's crazy how much great wrestling is out there, for free or for a small price. One tape from Highspots, George Mayfield or SMV used to cost me $25 CDN

I remember flipping out when I saw the Tokyopop FMW DVD collection for sale, I got the whole collection for $10 during Boxing Day

Then I found out about usenet and IRC, but it took me like 10 hours to download a show. Now it takes me like 5 mins max to download a show, and I don't even have time to watch it

In this day and age you gotta pick and choose what you really want to see. The watch parties for Bloodsport and Spring Break 2 were the first 2 non-WWE shows I've seen in full in 3 or 4 years

Even when catching up on the CC, if a match doesn't interesting me or is too long, it's getting the

Welp, for those of you that find there's too much shyt to watch. I've got some bad news

First news is that the All Japan Archive is alive and well. It's on xwt-classics and it's Freeleech, it's 600 GB but hey, the whole damn thing is there and you don't gotta worry about uploading ratio @stro @3Rivers

The second....people have unearthed some piff footage and thank Terry Funk I have off tomorrow because I've been watching some rare stuff.

Spoiler: long winded explanation

After a long while I decided to check PWO's "secret" forum and found that in March a member got his hands on a whooole bunch of handled footage from New Japan, All Japan and IWE, the majority of it has never been seen or was buried on trade tapes that aren't available online well, the guy uploaded what he has on Google Drive so there's a bunch of hours of some really interesting, never before seen matches out there to finally watch. More than half probably is just filler "house show" type of stuff, but there's some gems out there. Now if you want to access those you gotta create an account at Pro Wrestling Only and ask the admins for the forum password. PM me if you have any issues.

I've only seen a couple of matches but so far so good. After the CC I'll probably throw any current wrestling that isn't Strong BJ or Daniel Bryan to the bushes and go deep dive into this shyt because there's some really interesting stuff out there.

Just a nugget...

Misawa & Kawada vs Andre The Giant & Giant Baba - Real World's Tag League 1991

I mean, 1 minute in and Kawada slaps the shyt out of Baba to a big ass OOOHHHHH from the crowd...I think the best workd to describe this match is "wonderful". Andre can barely move and it's 91' Baba but there's so many cool moments in this that you can't help but smile and realize what you are watching. Kawada is as awesome as expected, not taking shyt from anybody - him trying to slam Andre made me mark out - and being a disrespectful punk. Watching Misawa land that first elbow on Andre made me pop like a kid too. Action is of course clumsy at times but there's too much talent in the ring for you to not have at least some fun. And the final minutes were great. I loved how the crowd reacted almost exactly like me to every big moment.
