Why in the fukk would anyone ever book a 34 minute EVIL/Hiromu match? Short of, like, Yujiro and present-day Tenzan, those are two of the last people I'd ever book to go that long.

I'm pretty sure AJ never actually had a title match go over 30 minutes (EDIT: He had one go 30:15, which was his final IWGP title match in the company), which should tell you everything you need to know about that little trope's necessity.

Omega can do it because he actually knows how to lay out a 30+ minute title match without making me want to kill myself.
