Strong BJ vs Ryota Hama & Yasufumi Nakanoue - BJW Tag Title match
Fun tag match made really fukking good thanks to the Korakuen crowd. For a filler title defense this had lots of good stuff. I love how Yuji and Daisuke always bring the best out of Hama, that big fat ball of lard is fun as fukking to watch when paired against those two, this wasn't the exception. Not a MOTYC but a good way to spend 16 minutes watching fun puro.
Hideki Suzuki (c) vs Hideyoshi Kamitani - BJW Strong Heavyweight Title match
Loved this from the minute the bell started. Kamitani knows Suzuki loves to out smart his opponents so he immediately goes on the offensive and attacks the champ full speed and does not let up until he gains control. The only way Hideki, the master of escaping holds, can get the upperhand is using brute force. I don't know if that was intentional but it was an outstanding way of showing this was NOT the same type of match Suzuki was able to have against Sekimoto and Okabayashi. This was very much a "young guy vs champ" type of match with Kamitani using his speed and intensity to avoid Hideki's superior ability, and Suzuki having to weather the storm and pick his spots to inflict damage. Finish was unexpected but pretty awesome. Just like above, not a MOTYC but a very compelling and entertaining watch
Considering all the stuff @stro bytches about in current wrestling, I'm pretty sure Suzuki would be his favorite wrestler if he stopped watching shyt he hates and took the time to see his run in Big Japan this year.

but he's not gonna draw 1 person to that building and to be honest he's not good enough for that spot yet - I'm kinda disappointed he hasn't taken a leap yet in his performances, maybe this is all he is
- but the thing is they kinda don't have anyone else considering Nomura and Uto are even more green. And Kamitani just got shot his and was soundly beat. This makes me miss Yoshihito Sasaki more than usual. Kawakami is another possible choice and had a "big" return last year but he's even lower in the totem pole than Daichi....I guess they could get an outsider but I have no clue who could it be, Sato? Soya? and having two outsiders headline your biggest show would be really weird for a promotion like Big Japan
outside of literally 2 matches that might be 3 matches over two shows depending on the tournament brackets.
