I think tanahashi is right
I also think his matches with Okada were better than kennys matches with okada

I also think the same. But Tanahashi's matches have had issues with filling time just because and brushing off stuff they established early just for the sake of having a hot finishing stretch with a lot of moves.
Much of the issues some people (myself included) have with New Japan's current main event style come from what Tanahashi started doing years ago.
Him going
at what's happening now - Omega is not the first he critiques, in his book he talks about a lot of people - is funny to me.

The c*ntiness in this match wasn't all time high as I expected but there were a BUNCH of sequences that had me legit
at how they were slapping and kicking each other, it's the kind of disrespect you can't help but love. The match never fully clicked and the crowd was mostly horrible - Kazuki trying to hype them up like 3 times was almost uncomfortable - but as I said, there a lot of exchanges that make it worth a watch. The ending fell flat on it's face thanks to a little botch and the crowd being dead, but they had the right idea, I guess it kinda sums up the match: good ideas, good chemistry, but never fully clicked.
Talk brazy about brehs while ur arm held together w duct tape n duck sauce brehs.
I love how Okami can go from feisty underdogs to bully "veterans" depending on who they are facing. This was similar to last year's RWTL match against Naoya Nomura & Aoyagi, with Daichi and specially Kamitani doing a really good job in control, dominating and beating the fukk out of their smaller opponents. Abe does little c*nty things like very few these days, and his flash kicks and reversals are perfect for hope spots and buildups to a hot tag, so of course it works on this match. Nomura, as always, stands out as a no fukks given, gonna kick you to Bolivia bad ass that still doesn't quite have enough to dominate. Strike exchanges were dope as hell, specially the kicks between Daichi and Takuya. Shin-Kiba crowd is right there with them too. Strong BJ delivers once again
