Yup, that's been the most accurate comparisson I've been reading about dude. He's a fine talent, but he's not ready for this kind of push, at least not yet.

And I'm not sure what a transitional 2 reign will do for dude. Gedo gonna Gedo though.

Doesn't help that White isn't that great of an athlete either. Omega/Naito are super explosive in their movements and Okada's smoothness comes from his athleticism. White's wrasslin is the equivalent of a ganeric eurocac boxer.

So, last night my girl and I watched the Jay White win. She's a Tanahashi Stan, and her reaction to Jay White winning was priceless. If getting the average fan to be ready for literally anyone to beat this guy for the belt was the plan, Gedo did it.

I think the only two people she would somehow be more upset by are Chase Owens (because fukk outta here with that shyt), and Toa Henare, who she has an irrational hate for.
