I don't think it's weird NOAH still employs him. Him still wanting to wrestle into his 50's in a nothing role after what happened is more surprising to me.

The cup is easy to figure out. Most of those initial shows were standard half tourney half tag shows. Just do a couple all tourney shows like they did with the Super Jrs last year, and they'll get caught up.

The better question is when they run that Hiromu/Naito match. I think people were really looking forward to it.

Well he is a tag guy at best and honestly the GHC Tag Championships were a really weird scene at times from 09-12 even outside trying to make Go a thing. I agree with @stro though because after they didnt renew his contract after the Misawa accident, I didnt think he'd ever be back outside of freelancing.

Yeah he was still there but not as a contracted guy. They chose not to renew it for whatever reason. He became a freelancer with only one home for 10 or so years. I still kinda blame him for taking out the emerald gawd too.
