Just finished the show.
After seeing Okada/Naito I definitely stand by my opinion that it should have gone on last. Thankfully Naito was fairly over, and like Rhymus said in his review, it was cool to see him completely lose his shyt over the way Okada was disrespecting him.
I might have to go with Shibata/Goto as MOTN though. It had the most heat of anything on the card, and the pre-match/post-match stuff told a pretty interesting story on top of that. I may be in the minority but I liked this better than their match from Dominion last year.
I wasn't mad at Nakamura/Tanahashi either. There were several excellent counters throughout the match and they did a great job of playing off each others familiarity. I'd read that the crowd was burnt out for it, but I thought they were about as responsive as you could possibly hope for considering they'd sat through a 5 hour show.

The matches you expect to deliver were all very good. My personal favorite was probably Ibushi/Devitt for the Jr. Heavyweight strap.
Props to Kojima. Not a lot of people care about Conway and the NWA title but Kojima was over as fukk as he usually is and made something out of it.

Decided to watch this over Raw tonight and i have to say, top to bottom it was a great card.
The Jr Heavyweight Tag Division is so rich with talent right now. Fale and Makabe actually had a good brawl with better storytelling. Devitt/Kota nuff said. Fantastic match (can anyone explain that shyt at the end though?) Shibata vs Goto was great. It reaffirms that Goto is a bad ass that theyve continually dropped the ball on. I still fukking hate Toru Yano, Muta or not. They better leave the Gracies home from now on. I didnt think a Sakuraba/Nagata team could have a bad match but
Okada/Naito was match of the night for me. Naito going apeshyt on Okada for swag surfin on him made me think he had a Kishin version coming. Speaking of swag surfin, Nakamura is the GAWD. That entrance, the swaggin out after the match

great story told throughout. All in all id take shows well crafted like this over whatever garbage Vince feels like serving on monday nights.

Kyosuke Mikami is back from his learning excursion in CMLL, and he's playing a character based on El Mariachi from Robert Rodriguez's Mexico trilogy.
You could jump right in with the new Tokyo Dome show and that'd be a fine starting point. New Japan has been steadily building momentum for years now though, and I'd suggest at least playing catch up on 2013. That was probably the best in-ring year I've ever seen, from any promotion.

1.these people dont pop for entrances, so aint no point in going all out imo
2.the young bucks still suck, they're having the same no psychology match they've been having for like 5 years now
3.the delorean was dope
4.how many times is luke gallows/doc/doc gallow/festus gonna just randomly show up as generic goon #4 in a heel stable?, seems like theyre trying to make him a-trains replacement
5.i heard all this hype for dh smith and lance archer/hoyt and how good a team they were and besides the american bad ass entrance, they didnt seem like nothing special to me
6.i cant buy into okada at all, he's like a guy TRYING to portray being cocky and shyt and it isnt natural at all and feels forced, not to mention him beating nikkas with a clothesline when hes smaller than daniel bryan is ridiculous,hansen shouldve beat his ass for that
7.i'm perplexed by nakamura, is he supposed to be a babyface or a heel?, his gimmick screams heel, yet he's over strong as hell like a babyface
