the population decline isn't the real issue, its these random towns falling into a time hole and land going unused and abandoned. that's gonna eventually overcrowd the major cities when only a few cities are viable in your whole country. Definitely a challenging issue, but the cards have already been dealt. aint nobody tryna live in Japanese West Virginia.
