Listening to this podcast. Dudley says CP3 is a better scorer than I thought not as good as a passer as I thought. Talks about how it's easy to get spoiled playing with Nash. Then he talks about John Wall. Says Wall is like a Nash with speed. that he wants to pass and lead the league in assists. That his vision is better than Chris Paul.

Maybe but considering their usage rate CP3 is much more careful with the ball.

Not a stretch, at all. LeBron is the best passer in the league vision wise but John Wall is damn close. I'd probably have Harden and Rubio right up there. Paul has the vision but he doesn't want to risk turnovers so he's not willing to take chances with certain passes. That's what separates him from guys like Kidd and Nash, they're willing to throw any pass even if it seems ill advised.

His vision isn't really so much like ben Simmons who throws guys open, it's based on knowing the playbook so well and knowing people's spots. Which is why you'll see him throw the ball clear out of bounds with no one in sight and get mad at his teammates like it's their fault.
