CP3 apologists in here doing their usual spin work. Not surprising that most of them are still 10 steps behind.

You guys clearly didn't watch the video and just read the title.

He gave an honest assessment of the clippers and why they fail.

No team chemistry

No real system

No organized practice

No real development of the bench

this. I didnt see it as a "rip". he was just being honest. it didnt sound like he dislikes Doc or had any malice towards him. just based on his experience with different teams he gave his assessment as to why the Clips arent as successful as their talent suggests.

:dead: @ no organized practice

Many young players have ankle foot and leg injuries as a direct result of the shoes they are signed to. I think John wall knee issues came from the shoes.

Dudley gave a lot of insight and can make a great GM one day as well. Y'all peeped what he said about Westbrook at around the 22 minute mark? The thing about basketball is I've played with different kinds of point guards and eventually played point myself.. It gets annoying when you don't get the ball on offense or are frozen out and only a bail out option cause the pg only runs certain looks. Or the of doesn't keep his head up and hit you when you in a good position. He may be good at it but eventually the other players not involved don't get engaged.. Don't get a flow and don't improve.

CP3 and Russ are great so you fall into the trap of letting them do everything. But in a series the opposing team can zero in on them. They'll get great numbers which will distract you from the fact that a more balanced offense would have been better. Chemistry will be lacking cause at that point the players you froze out are not willing to be your bail out option and will let you sink or swim on your own.

You may have a point about the injuries to Wall, but I am positive those heavy shoes in the beginning negatively impacted his play. Once he switched shoes he became a much better player.

The Westbrook assessment was a good one. I love RWB and he is exciting and as fierce a competitor there is in the league, but as a PG, I just think John is better because of the reasons Dudley mentioned. A lot of Russ' assist do come from the fact that he commands so much attention but John is just a throwback to guys like Magic/Isiah to me. He is looking to get EVERY teammate involved someway. There is a difference in getting assists and being able to create opportunities.

what the fukk is up with every random role player talking shyt on doc rivers lately?

nikka played one season for them clippers and he got shyt to tell? :scust:

wassup with this talk shyt on a black coach lately??? I get it doc rivers is an average coach, but I dont see ball players coming out and talking shyt on their white coaches, this nikka played for randy wittman, is there a time in that video where he says shyt on wittman?

like I wonder how this nikka got an interview

did they call him "ahhh jared we want you to talk some shyt on doc rivers, could you come to the studio?"

like some homework and shyt for nikkas that wanna earn some gig in television or radio, just say it doc sucks and you will get a gig :dead:

Good point. I think Doc is overrated but he seems like the type to shyt on you if you not handling business and players who catch feelings about it feel more comfortable bytching about it since he's black.

Check out Mike D'antoni.
Didn't do shyt with the Suns besides lose to the Lakers
Go to the Knicks not doing more shyt besides being disappointing
Two years with the Lakers flailing badly
Goes to the Rockets loses out in the conference semi's to a weakened Spurs team

No other coach has had more opportunities and failed to produce the results expected of him. Yet no players criticize him in interviews and this a$$hole has the gall to go at Melo years after being canned as the coach. Goes to show you the agenda.

I feel what you are saying, and you are right...however.....the reason why no player is gonna shyt on D'Antoni is because they love playing for him. He is a career builder with his offensive style and philosophy. There was a reason A'mare retired as a KNICK. Yeah, he played under Mike in Phoenix, but for a small portion of the time he was with the Knicks he was playing like an MVP and he was a huge asset to the franchise and instrumental in getting Melo there, from which it went downhill from there. Regardless, A'mare had so many great seasons under Mike.

Harden isnt the only player who had his best season under Mike. Nash basically stole two MVP awards from Shaq and Kobe. :comeon:
Felton was for the first time in his career getting All Star buzz. (after he was traded, hasnt been heard from since)
Didnt Nate Robinson have his highest scoring average under D'Antoni when he avg over 20ppg?
Look at Eric Gordon this year, avg over 16ppg off the bench.
Wilson Chandler, his boy Gallinari, the list goes on.

Mike makes players look good individually, most would say he makes them look better than what they are. The only players I could ever see shytting on him publicly is the ones that dont get any playing time.

Dudley made a good point about how Doc is a good coach but he doesn't have a system, he just gives the ball to his best player and lets him go to work and that's what makes the team suffer in the post season, once the great teams like the Spurs adjust. The great teams don't have this problem, so even if their best player is injured, they can put somebody else in and keep everything running still semi-smoothly. We just saw this with Kawhi and the Spurs and how they didn't miss a beat once he got hurt. Meanwhile all the Rockets did was give the ball to Harden every play, and when he wasn't getting it done, just have the team chuck up threes and pray they go in.

This is what punk ass Knick fans who want to shyt on Phil don't understand. He's trying to implement a system/identity in NY, not just give the keys to a star player and hope for the best. That bullshyt works for the regular season, but not in the playoffs.

Glad he spoke on how KD ruined Steph game and how fun Steph was to watch when KD not on the court.
