role player mad that CP3 is allowed to run the team like a trup PG instead of being an expendable piece.

So this is what you got out of that interview? If it is, you surely dont understand basketball.

Listen, you will never ...ever win a championship running nothing but pick and rolls with the same player over and over and over and over and over again. you have to be able to switch it up. because once the playoffs come along and the better defensive teams/coaches get wind of what you're doing./ They will have a defense to slow that down. you have to have a plan B and C when that happens. THe clippers dont have another plan. This is similar to MDA's Suns teams with nash or MDA's team with houston and harden.

What is your plan B?

THis is why phil jackson believes in the triangle so much. When it works with those star players nothing seems to be better. Kerr runs some semblance of it mixed in with the pick and roll game/motion. The reason that triangle was so great with the great players is because it's not an X's and O's setup. Their are sets but their is no exact thing you must do where some exact person must get the ball in a certain spot. You had a ton of options and you the player had to figure out which option was the best based on the defense you see. the smarter the players, the more skilled. the better the triangle would look. thats why it doesnt work on not so smart teams like the knicks of today or other teams that have tried to run it even without phil.

THe heavy pick and roll ONLY game will never win it all. its not cp3's fault. its on the coach to setup more options.

If Doc ran nothing but pick and rolls that might be a legit criticism, but he doesn't .
He runs multiple curls and staggered screens for shooters as well.
Fact is you have a PG like Paul you let him run the show and that isn't why they are losing.
They are losing because they have Blake who hasn't developed a low post game and is fragile and they have Jordan who is a excellent defender and lob man but can not generate offense. Thats their big problem. I thought they solved the depth issues this year, but injury got them again late.

We talking like this wasn't the 4 seed in the West, but ignore Blake constantly getting hurt, or CP3 getting injured, and act like losing your top 2 players wouldn't hurt any team.

They're losing because Dic is a horrible gm, overrated coach and Blake cantvstay healthy.

Chris dribbles a lot and Doc runs no offense. Chris has also hit tons of game winning shots including the biggest in Clipper history and ALL of the Clippers most meaningful players have had career numbers under Doc. The issue will always be Blake Griffin. In order for this to team ascend it was a forgone conclusion Blake had to be the best player on the team but he's a choke artist. Can't throw it to him in the 4th. Never seen a player dribble the ball off his knee or foot in crucial moments of the game so many times...I can count like 5 or 6 separate instances! Plus he was soft. Best player sets the tone for squad. Everybody from Bogut, Jason Smith, PJ Tucker, Z Bo etc would play this guy for puss and he would do nothing but then goes after an equipment manager the size of a woman SMH. Chris & Doc get 20% of the blame and Blake gets 80% blame

Many young players have ankle foot and leg injuries as a direct result of the shoes they are signed to. I think John wall knee issues came from the shoes.

Dudley gave a lot of insight and can make a great GM one day as well. Y'all peeped what he said about Westbrook at around the 22 minute mark? The thing about basketball is I've played with different kinds of point guards and eventually played point myself.. It gets annoying when you don't get the ball on offense or are frozen out and only a bail out option cause the pg only runs certain looks. Or the of doesn't keep his head up and hit you when you in a good position. He may be good at it but eventually the other players not involved don't get engaged.. Don't get a flow and don't improve.

CP3 and Russ are great so you fall into the trap of letting them do everything. But in a series the opposing team can zero in on them. They'll get great numbers which will distract you from the fact that a more balanced offense would have been better. Chemistry will be lacking cause at that point the players you froze out are not willing to be your bail out option and will let you sink or swim on your own.
