That nikka trash and deserves disrespect
Nah at least Alex Smith can be competent without needing a great running back, he just needs a good team and he'll look good

Goff literally needs a great team and best running back in the league (2018 Todd Gurley) just to look good, and he's been been trash since

This just goes to show why the best coach debate is dumb

So much of a coach's legacy is determined by their QB, full stop.

Bill Cowher is an outlier for being able to have sustained playoff success without great QB play.

Jared Goff is a a QB who looks the part. Has all the physical tools of an elite QB. Has the brain of a bag of rocks and he has to be spoonfed plays.

Mental midget, never takes risks, plays more to keep his job than to actually win

he is what he is, he’s always gonna be on payroll because he does Vegas, the NFL, and the mafia plenty of favours like scoring 3 points in the Super Bowl or randomly going nuclear on the Seahawks :russ:, he’s in that Derek Carr, Prime Alex Smith, Prime Joe Flacco tier of quarterbacks

I would take every one of those guys before Jared Goff.

Bullshyt. Alex needed a great running back everywhere he went, his entire game was checking down to running backs.

He had prime Frank Gore, prime Jamaal Charles, prime Kareem Hunt, even got to play with Adrian Peterson. Excellent olines and star TE's his entire career....What more you want? Dude was holding down every team he was on. the 49ners and Cheifs both made SB runs immediately after his departure with young QBs.

Like wtf??? That leg injury was the best thing to ever happen to that bum, people started reframing his career like he was steve young. :scust: nikka is a career checkdown artist and certified bum

Alex Smith was way better
Alex was better. But Goff didn't have the benefit of top defenses. Alex put up pedestrian numbers his entire career and still won games later in his career. Why? Because his teams had good defenses. Goff had a good D and went to a super bowl.

He wasn't that good but it's been awhile since he's been as bad as Goff

Maybe it's revisionist history :patrice:

Never understood how he was a first overall pick.
When I saw gameday was going to Cal just to hype him up first I was like who?:dwillhuh: then I was like why? :what:
Its like the media discovered dude was a blonde QB from cali and said "this dude has to be good let's hype him"

The new rules are very beneficial to today's QBs so it makes their transition to the NFL more a lot easier. And you know any coach with an ego thinks he can turn one into a star as long as he has a good arm.
