There are rumors of a Pau for Josh Smith trade; I hate it! If Kobe won't let Pau eat, WTH is Josh going to do in LA. Pau isn't the problem.

Pau and Bynum aren't the issue in LA. The problem is Kobe Bryant. IMO, winning comes second to showing everyone he's still the best player.

If Kobe allowed Pau and Bynum to take a step forward, or at least get more shots, they'd be in the title hunt. But he won't, so they won't.

There comes a time in every great player's career when they have to change they way they play. It's easier if you have another guy to help with the heavy lifting. Kobe has two guys that are capable of helping. The fact is no titles were won w/o Pau and none will be won.

It's about leadership. LBJ, KG, Duncan all understand that. They include their guys and trust them through ups and downs. Not Kobe.

Kobe choose to roll his eyes at guys like Steve Blake taking open shots. He choose to shoot 30 times rather than get 10 assists.

Kobe shoots over double-teams instead of moving he ball and getting other guys involved. His reasoning, well, five rings.

It's weak and will hurt the Lakers going forward. The one thing Bynum and Pau are guilty of is not getting in Kobe's face and telling him to pass the damn ball. Pau's time in LA speaks for itself: 2 rings, 3 trips to the Finals. Put him in a good spot and he'll get another shot.

Put LeBron James in LA and they have 3 rings and happiness in the locker room. He's a leader and team-first guy.

That's my rant for the night. I won't debate it, anyone that is honest knows I'm speaking the truth. Kobe is the problem in LA.

Kobe's main problem is that he doesn't want to accept the fact that he's not the same player he used to be. And it appears his ego won't let him take a back seat to anyone. Its actually kind of sad to watch at this point.....
