Well it's not just him, it's the assistant coaches that share that responsibility. Jason was more of a celebrity signing than anything...they also saw how Mark Jackson had no experience and got the job and did well.

The difference between Kidd and Jackson is Jackson has been watching the game for years now and also was a commentator (NJ Nets day :banderas:)
