Actually this might have been some slick moves by the Nets. IF they were considering firing him, like they were during the season, then they would have had to keep paying him. This way, the Bucks pick up the bill AND they get two draft picks.:ehh:

This was a very interesting love triangle. It was rumored that former Dallas Mavericks teammates Jason Kidd and Jim Jackson were both involved with singer Toni Braxton from 1996 to 1997. The story goes that Braxton stopped by the Mavs' hotel to pick up Kidd for a date but left with Jackson instead. Eventually, Kidd demanded a trade -- either him or Jackson -- and the Mavs dealt him to the Suns.

I think the nets won also. kidd wasn't setting the coaching world on fire, and to receive compensation for his departure is just icing on the cake.

The D (where it's so cold)
Why you leave out Rodman? he had that plus every other color.....

Well, that was sort of Rodman's thing he started all of that (Demolition Man aside) and he kept it as part of his look, he still rocks the blonde afro so it wasn't so much of a phase as with the others.

Yo, this muthafukka did not answer one question during the press conference.

Kidd was dodging questions in one of the smoothest manners I've ever seen.

"Kidd has never been a particularly forthcoming or reflective soul. In interviews, he speaks with a strange, almost-pathological detachment and a thousand-yard stare that conveys neither empathy nor interest."

LMAO. Goddamn.:banderas:

Yo, it's hilarious to me because I read that little article and then I watched that interview and that shyt was TOO true, lol. This dude was just starting straight ahead dodging questions like a pro. And he did that shyt so soullessly that none of the reporters repeated their questions or asked for clarification.

Mufukkas are like, "Do you feel what you did was right the way you went from Brooklyn to Milwaukee?" and he's like "I'm just blessed to have an opportunity to coach." :mindblown:

Kidd looks like the bad guy here but what about when coaches are just fired out of the blue. We have no remorse for them because they are still getting paid. So why should we feel sorry for the Nets for getting played by Kidd. He just turned the tables on them and did what teams have been doing to players and coaches for decades.
