I actually need it to make bank cause the only Aquaman film I could stomach is a film where a guy is playing the character like he is going to play the character

Breh that's all that matters. It's a comic book adaptation. Why wouldn't they get someone who looks like the character? Look at Reed Richards in the new F4 movie. They weren't even trying.

Well to be fair their races play no bearing on the character outside of mainstream acceptance. It's the minority characters that have a race element so it's harder to have a white character with Falcons or Luke cage background story but technically anyone can be Bruce Wayne

That's what they thought when they hired him for the Conan remake, it didn't really work out the way they wanted.

That movie was destined to bomb though. Bad marketing, bad directing, a bad script. And the entire cast was bad except for Momoa. I don't think anyone (even the studio behind) expected it to be a hit.

( not miles but Peter ) are we saying its that crazy to have a black person play a teenager who gains power but it's ok for a British person to play him or a blonde if he dyes his hair
