Should tell that to the OP and Jason Black. I agree the people who state this film will be revolutionary are retards. And are just looking for escapism. But me I just hope this film increases Coogler's directing career(one of the best black directors out) and encourages more black FILM MAKERS to make films like this themselves instead of the same slave films, dramas or comedies. This is what I always wanted for this film. Not some "Black liberation" shyt but to push Afrofuturism among Black artists especially in the Film/TV industry so we get more of a diverse reflection of us that is more "uplifting." Its gonna end white supremacy? NO! However, if this film does good then hopefully it ENCOURAGES Coogler to make the Mansa Musa film he is thinking about...

Me: That's true that its owned by Disney. But the writer and directors(not counting actors) of this film are BLACK and the creative vision was by two BLACK artists and not whites. That's like saying Kendrick artistic vision is white owned since he is apart of Interscope. I'm ONLY talking artistic vision obviously and NOT the financial side of things. Again this film is important because it will start a movement of Afrofuturism among Black FILM MAKERS and this time it will be "BLACK OWNED." Black Artistic vision in the Film/TV industry will expand.
