The funny thing is that MLK's alleged immorality hinges solely on the word of an FBI department that actively smeared, denigrated, and ultimately killed him. Even if you believe i's possible that MLK was cheating because married men do that often, basing that thought off a compromised FBI's word is wild. And this is coming from people who regularly attack the FBI for being immoral, and for allegedly going after the most moral and perfect man on god's green earth: Donald Trump..........
The hypocrisy is breath taking. But it's also a perfect example of something anyone with a brain can see: the far right is driven largely by white racist men and the best way to monetize them is to cater to their braindead inclinations. "MLK didn't see color and wanted us all to live together" is no longer good enough, when it comes to (bad) conservative talking points on MLK. Because conservatives are going backwards, they have no issue reviving the original conservative opinion of MLK circa the 1960s-1980s: that he was a communist trouble maker who hated white people and stirred division amongst black people. And they can blame gay people all they want, the main reason they want to repeal the Civil Rights Act and Brown v Board and Loving v Virginia is because they hate black people.

Opinion becomes policy. The guy Fatlock is talking to is a Republican party activist trying to overturn the Civil Rights Act. Keeping the party he supports out of power will keep his agenda in the realm of opinion rather than policy.
