I don't think it's that deep. He could use that excuse when they both worked at espn, but he has no reason to protect Whitlock. Right is right and wrong is wrong. We're not talking about Ralph Wiley or Bill Rhoden; were talking about Jason Whitlock. Using Charlemagne (another c00n) not going at Wendy Williams as an example doesn't add up to me because Wendy hasn't done anything explicitly against black causes. Whitlock does it everyday.

I've always thought Bomani's politics and opinions leaned more towards Whitlock than people think. He rails against black male athletes very harshly and often before any evidence of any wrong doing; doesn't speak up in any questionable case involving women, and let a white Cuban bash Kapernick because of a t-shirt.

Most recently, he questioned the actions of a black security guard who removed a white supremacist woman from a store while glossing over the fact she was belligerent and calling people the N word. If that's not Whitlock, I don't know what is
